Saturday Stats - April 1st

As ever, it should be noted that the Saturday stats aren’t tips and we’re not suggesting that they should all be backed to level stakes. However, they can be quite useful and are worth taking note of when you’re looking at a particular race. We’ve grouped together the first couple as there are a number of horses in groups for the same reason (ie, trainer and jockey form). After that it goes in chronological order.

Jim Crowley has had 5 wins from 7 rides in the last 2 weeks and has a busy book of rides today:
1.30 Kempton – Mesophere
2.05 Kempton - Linguistic
2.40 Kempton - Solar Flair
3.15 Kempton - Southdown Lad
3.50 Kempton - Manaahil
6.15 Chelmsford - Mudaarab
7.45 Chelmsford – Farook

Wilie Mullins:
Willie Mullins has had 7 winners from 13 rides in the last 2 weeks and runs two today:
2:50 Navan - Kolumbus
5:40 Navan – Redhotfillypeppers

Tony Hamilton has ridden 3 winners from 4 rides in the last 2 weeks and rides these today
3:35 Doncaster - Withernsea
4:45 Doncaster - Requinto Dawn

1:50 Doncaster - Mobsta seems to excel over 6f - he has won 4 times from 7 starts over today's trip, having finished outside the places on both of his 2 starts over shorter and placed twice from 3 starts over further

2:40 Kempton - Almost all of Solar Flair's success has come with Jim Crowley on board (3 wins and a place from 6 starts with Crowley, 1 win and 2 places from 11 starts with other jockeys).

2:40 Kempton - Judicial has a good record after a short break - 3 wins and a place from 7 starts when back out within 30 days of his last start, compared to 2 wins and place from 8 starts after a longer break.

2:40 Kempton - Dutch Golden Age has won 4 times and placed once from 6 starts at Kempton, compared to 1 win and 3 places from 11 starts elsewhere. He's 3 from 5 over this course and distance.

2:50 Navan - Ruby Walsh has ridden 5 winners from 9 rides in the last 2 weeks and rides Kolumbus here

3:00 Doncaster - Tullius has won 3 times and placed once from 6 starts after a break of over 120 days, compared to 8 wins and 8 places from 31 starts after a shorter break - while others might need the run, past form suggests that he should be ready

3:00 Doncaster - A fairly obvious one here, but Crazy Horse has won all 3 career starts to date

3:15 Kempton - Final has won 4 times and placed once from 6 starts when back out within 15 days, compared to 1 win and 5 places from 11 starts after a longer break

3:15 Kempton - Prince Of Arran has won 3 times from 4 starts at Kempton, but picked up just 3 places and no wins from 8 starts elsewhere. He is also 1 from 1 over this course and distance.

3:40 Uttoxeter - Sean Bowen and Nigel Hawke have teamed up 10 times in the last 2 years, and 5 have been winners. They team up with Greybougg here

3:50 Kempton - William Haggas has had 3 wins from 4 runners in the last 2 weeks, and runs Foxy Lass in the 3:50 at Kempton

4:00 Navan - Liz Doyle has had 3 winners from 6 runners in the last 2 weeks, and runs Emma Beag here.

5:05 Stratford - Ballycoe has won 3 times from 3 starts in April, compared to 1 win from 10 starts throughout the rest of the year

5:10 Navan - Interestingly enough, all of Whos That's success has come after a break of over a month and less than 2 months. He has won 4 times and placed once from 8 starts after such a break, but only placed once from 14 starts after a shorter break and also placed once from 7 starts after longer.

5:40 Navan - Jamie Codd has had 4 wins and a place from 8 rides at Navan since the beginning of 2015, and rides Penny Jane here.
